Rachel will get in touch about any purchases once they are made through this website. Alternatively, you can email her at RachelMerrickArt@gmail.com or use the get in touch form on the website homepage to inquire about timelines for sending out an artwork you are interested in. It would take several weeks for her to ship an artwork, but if there's a particular rush she'll see what she can do! Commissions are still open with expected completion timelines to take several months. She will communicate with you about your spot on her commission waiting list.

In short, no, paintings don't usually come in a frame due to the additional risk of breakage during the shipping process unless otherwise stated on the product page. Rachel is in the process of securing a frame supplier If you are ordering a paper-based painting (e.g. a watercolor painting), it comes mounted in a standard-sized white mount for free to suit a frame you can get locally. Dimensions with and without the mount are listed on the product page. Cards are not mounted. Rachel may have some frames available for a canvas painting you purchase if you come to Cambridge to collect your artwork in-person. Please get in touch if that sounds right for you.

If you have a particular glass frame you have in mind and you want a watercolor painting mounted to fit this frame size, please get in touch and Rachel can sell you the painting in a bespoke mount to fit your frame. This may incur a small additional fee of £7-10 depending on the size and Rachel's existing mount stock. If you have a frame for a canvas painting you want to fill, please get in touch and Rachel can create a custom painting for you in a canvas or on a board in that size. If you see something Rachel made that you love already, Rachel can create a similar artwork in a size that suits your frame.

Shipping within the UK is included in the product prices. Products are shipped with Royal Mail (tracked). Shipping costs for PAPER artworks shipped to Europe and Canada is also included, but you may be responsible for your country’s art import custom duties upon the point of delivery. Shipping costs are not included outside of the UK, Europe, and Canada. Shipping paintings on canvas (above 10x12 inches) outside of the UK is subject to a shipping fee, and you may incur customs charges. Please get in touch for an estimated shipping price for larger outworks or if you are outside the UK or Europe. ​ The shipping policy is regularly being revised in accordance with changing global tariffs.

Returns are not accepted. Products for sale are photographed and described as accurately as possible. If you wish to view more images and/or videos of the product before making a purchase, please get in touch. You are also welcome to visit the studio in Cambridge to see your artwork in person prior to a purchase. If you are dissatisfied in any way, please get in touch and Rachel will try to make things right for you.
